With strong support from the City of Osaka and the Quebec provincial government, we are hosting a business tour that includes a visit to 'ALL IN', Canada's largest AI conference, and individual business meetings with local companies.
As part of its efforts based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on economic exchange with the Quebec provincial government in Canada, the City of Osaka will be conducting business tours to Quebec . Accordingly, we are now accepting applications from Osaka-based companies and other organizations aiming to expand overseas or create international business opportunities .
Quebec, and especially its major city Montreal, is home to world-class AI research institutions, universities, global companies, and startups, forming a robust innovation ecosystem through collaboration between industry, academia, and government . In addition to cutting-edge industries such as AI, life sciences, and clean technology, it also leads the world in digital content fields such as games, XR, and video .
Furthermore, the state boasts high competitiveness in manufacturing sectors such as aerospace, automotive, industrial machinery, and advanced materials, and is at the forefront of next-generation manufacturing utilizing digital technology and AI. For Osaka's small and medium-sized enterprises, which are seeking both technological innovation and international expansion, it is the region with the highest affinity for collaboration, which is why we decided to hold this business tour.
This tour is distinct from typical "sightseeing-focused inspections" and is a practical program aimed at "creating concrete business opportunities."
Program:
Visit to 'ALL IN', Canada's largest AI conference: This provides an opportunity to directly experience cutting-edge AI trends and technologies and gain global insights.
Individual business meetings and networking: Based on the business content and needs of participating companies, we create individual business meetings with local companies, research institutions, startup support organizations, etc., to support efficient sales channel development and business partnerships.
Visits to major institutions made possible only through official channels: With the full cooperation of the Quebec provincial government, we will conduct official visits to key organizations that support the local ecosystem. We will support expansion into the North American market, business partnerships, and the discovery of new partners.
Expert support: To alleviate any anxieties you may have before traveling abroad or during business negotiations, we offer individual consultations with overseas business experts. We support smooth and effective business matching through services such as refining negotiation and proposal materials, and providing advice for business negotiations.
This is an excellent opportunity to experience the forefront of one of the world's leading innovation hubs and seize new business opportunities. We welcome companies interested in expanding into the Canadian and North American markets, as well as international business partnerships.
In addition, we will be holding an online information session in early July to introduce the tour's overview and the benefits of participating . The date will be announced separately on our website, etc., but on the day of the session , representatives from the Quebec provincial government will explain the local business environment, industry trends, and the advantages of Japanese companies expanding into Quebec. Companies considering participating in the tour, as well as those who would like to learn more about Quebec, are encouraged to attend.
