Osaka City is recruiting approximately five companies and organizations to join a two-day business tour to Milan, held in connection with the 45th anniversary of the Osaka–Milan sister city partnership.

The programme is designed for Osaka-based companies interested in entering or expanding within the Italian and wider European markets. Participants from all industries are welcome, with particularly strong relevance for sectors such as manufacturing, textiles, design, pharmaceuticals and life sciences.

The tour is expected to include:

  • A seminar hosted by Osaka City

  • Meetings with local industrial clusters and related companies

  • A pre-departure online briefing on the Italian market and business expansion into Italy

Participation in the programme is free. The organizers will cover interpretation and the costs of arranging the official business programme. Participants are responsible for their own flights, accommodation, meals, insurance and most local transportation expenses.

Eligible applicants include companies, organizations and individual business owners with offices, factories, shops, distribution centres or similar operations in Osaka City, as well as Osaka-based organizations already active in Italy or Europe.
